TheSpeedGamers – Star Wars Arcade Trilogy Part 3 of 3: The Empire Strikes Back

The third and final Star Wars arcade title in the origianl trilogy, The Empire Strikes Back! This title is not only the best of the series but its a technical marvel for its time, offering a fully 3D battlefield for players to roam while taking down AT-STs and AT-ATs.

TheSpeedGamers are about rev up for another full week long marathon that will consist of tons of Star Wars titles played over the 168-hour period. Of course, it is all for a good cause as they’ll be fundraising for Direct Relief International over the week. To lead up to the marathon, I’m producing a set of three videos looking at three arcade classics in the Star Wars series. This is the second of the trilogy.

You can check out the video over on TheSpeedGamers! Be sure to return to the site starting July 8th at 6pm central, when the marathon will kick off.

TSG Game Review – Cubic Ninja

Nintendo 3DS has proven to be a fine system in terms of possibilites. But what about actually delivering on that promise? So far, it’s been weak, with the only quality titles really being ports and remakes. So it is refreshing to see Cubic Ninja, an original title for  Nintendo 3DS. Is this the title we’ve all been waiting for, or it just another title to glance over?

TSG Game Review – Dead or Alive: Dimensions

When you think Dead or Alive, you think boobies. And when you think Dead or Alive on 3DS, you think 3D boobies. And while Dead or Alive: Dimensions has plenty of 3D boobies that shake all over the screen, I actually ended up writing my entire review with out mentioning boobies at all… Or did I?

Xenoblade Heading to Europe

I never post my news stories on my blog, but this is an exception.  I was so happy about this announcement that I took the time to make an entire video dedicated to it. We can expect Xenoblade to hit Europe sometime this year. I’d guess Nintendo of America will be localizing it as well, but nothing has been announced. Although with titles like Another Code R and Disaster: Day of Crisis still sitting in Europe and Japan alone, I won’t be surprised if I’ll be forced to import.
